The Hampsfell Hospice near Cartmel. The chains are to keep the cows out. It was built in 1846 by the vicar of Cartmel and has provided shelter for travellers ever since. [Wednesday 8/10/2008 by David and Edith Brown]

Hi Russell, You must be pleased with your new camera, the detail on that bee [see yesterday] is absolutely stunning. Makes me wonder if I went the right way getting a Canon 5D Full Frame and 4 lenses! Well done. I know you told us what model the new camera was, but I can't remember?
My new camera is a Panasonic Lumix LX3 which I am very pleased with.
