I'd Rather Be in the Lake District

This section shows photographs from outside the Lakes, often my own pictures but sometimes contributions from Lake District Now visitors. If you would like to take part please take a suitable photograph and .

I'd Rather Be in the Lake District

"Alice and the Looking Glass" with Reflections of Guildford Castle. This statue is in the former garden of Lewis Carroll' s (Charles Dodgson's) house in Guildford where he wrote "Through the Looking Glass" whilst staying here in 1871. [8/10/2008 my own picture]

This is the first picture with my new camera (a Panasonic Lumix LX3 digital compact) which I am quite excited about!
