I went to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood on Friday (near Chichester, West Sussex). Goodwood house, on the right, is home to the the Earl and Countess of March. The Festival of Speed claims to be "the world’s biggest and most diverse celebration of the history of motor sport and car culture". Land Rover was celebrating its 60th anniversary and created the sculpture featuring five full size cars.![]()

What unbelievable good luck. I found these three young ladies reading Wainwright's Guide to the Lakeland Fells. I asked them about it and they said they were planning a trip up Blencathra when they next visited the UK (they live in Germany) ![]()
