What incredible luck, I stumbled across this mountain biking policeman outside St Pauls reading his Wainwright guide to the Northern Fells... wishing he was cycling Helvellyn.

 

 

 

Lake District TV

Ambleside was voted the most picturesque location to buy a property in the UK by Ian Blandford and Melissa Porter on Thursday evenings TV programme " The Property List" (but they didn't mention the summer traffic!). They featured "The Wyke" at Grasmere which you could snap up at the bargain price of just £2,500,000.
