How many miles (or km) of footpaths and bridleways are there in the National Park? view answer

The Lake District National Park has 1,880 miles (3,010 km) of public footpaths, bridleways and other rights if way.

This is enough to make a return trip from John O'Groats to Lands End and back with a hundred miles or so left over for detours along the way.
